Description

Some members of the Class of 1901 returned late to campus from Christmas holidays, choosing to spend the New Year holiday with their families. President Lyman Hall declared they were guilty of insubordination and ordered them out of the dorms, which compelled them to take six weeks of courses in the autumn of 1901. Their graduation was postponed until November 1901.
