Sculpture by Julian Harris (1906-1987). Harris graduated from Georgia Tech in 1928 with a B.S. in architecture and soon became a noted free-lance sculptor, contributing many sculptures to the Atlanta area. Some of his work for the Georgia Tech campus includes ten busts of famous engineers and scientists, the bronze gate of the Naval Armory, and the stained glass window in Brittain Dining Hall. Harris taught part time in the College of Architecture for 34 years.
