The Georgia Tech Archives collects, preserves, and provides access to organizational records, personal papers, visual materials, memorabilia, rare books, and architectural drawings. These materials primarily document the history of Georgia Tech and the activities of its faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Special collecting areas include science fiction, Southeastern textile mills, and the development of design in the modern South.
With over 13,000 digitized and born-digital items (mostly photographs and a small collection of oral history videos), the Georgia Tech Archives Digital Portal offers access to the portions of our holdings that have been scanned or were donated to us in digital form. The site is built using Omeka 2.5.1.
