Atlantic Sheet Metal Building

The Atlantic Sheet Metal Building was initially constructed in 1924, although it went through several extensive renovations in the 1920s and 1930s. The Atlantic Sheet Metal Corporation produced bombs for the government during World War II, after which they produced peace-time merchandise. As Georgia Tech expanded, eventually the building was purchased to construct buildings along Marietta Street.
